Data processed, purposes and legal bases

Enquiries and orders

When you contact us through the form, by email or by telephone, we may process your name, contact details, message, delivery address and any other information required to prepare a quotation or manage an order. The form forwards the message to Bertoni’s Gmail account; the website does not store a copy of its content in the newsletter database. Processing is necessary to answer your request, take pre-contractual steps or perform the relationship requested by you.

When you select the consent checkbox and submit the form, the subscription becomes active immediately. We store the email address, subscription status, date and version of consent, source, preferred language and the essential subscription or unsubscription events. This processing is based on consent and is used to send the communications you requested. You can withdraw consent at any time through the link in every newsletter.

Administrative and legal obligations

Data relating to orders, payments and invoicing may be processed to comply with applicable accounting, tax and legal obligations.

Browsing and security

The hosting system may record technical browsing data such as IP address, request date and time, requested page and device information, insofar as necessary for operation, security and abuse prevention.

Data retention

Messages received through Gmail are retained for as long as necessary to manage the request and any resulting relationship. Newsletter email addresses remain in the database while the subscription is active. After unsubscription, the minimum information needed to prevent further messages and document the request is retained. Order data is kept for the periods required by administrative, accounting and tax law. Any technical logs are retained only as necessary for operation and security.

Recipients and external services

Data may be processed by suppliers supporting Bertoni with website hosting, Gmail, administration, payments and deliveries, only insofar as necessary for the requested service and according to their respective data-protection roles. The newsletter list and campaign history are stored in a SQLite database on the system hosting the website.

The Contact section can load a Google Maps map only after an explicit choice. The website’s typefaces are also requested from the Wix/Parastorage network. When these resources are loaded, the relevant providers may receive technical connection data under their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Where provided by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing. You may also withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
